Legionella-free The installation of an ICA-system gives you the peace of mind of a legionella-free location.Improved water quality The ICA-system does not only affect legionella, but also other micro-organisms and acts on the biofilm. This improves overall water quality.No adjustment to the mains water system The functioning of the ICA-system reaches throughout the complete water piping network. So it isn\'t even necessary to adapt dead points or parts with weak water flow. Decrease in the water temperature The ICA-system does its job irrespective of the water temperature. The temperature of the hot water can be lowered, even to temperatures between 25ēC and 55ēC.Less Maintenance Because the functioning of the ICA-system is non-corrosive and does not use chemicals, no unnecessary strain is put on the piping network, valves or pumps. This reduces maintenance.Monitoring the system Thanks to the latest in digital technology, all data from the ICA-system are available to the Facility Management Information System (FMIS). ATECA can even update the logbook online. Certification The water is analysed monthly by an accredited laboratory. This inspection determines the pH balance, conductivity, degree of hardness and chloride content.Analysis of the mains water quality prior to installation One month prior to the installation of the ICA-system, the water quality in the piping network is also analysed. ATECA selects a few tap points for this analysis based on a risk analysis. The analysis concerns the hot water temperature, TVC (22°/37°), copper and silver concentrations and legionella population.Monthly water analysis after installation It is the policy of ATECA to have monthly water analyses carried out during the first year after installation of the ICA-system. The same tap points are always used for these analyses, which provide a good overview of water quality. After the first year, the frequency of the analyses is reduced to once every two months.
